Go for an early morning stroll down a winding trail thru the 145 acres of woods where the local woodland creatures abound. Enjoy an evening sunset  trail ride thru the winding creek. Soak up the sun by the in ground pool just steps from the lodge complete with diving board and slide. Witness life on a working ranch with fifty head of our beautiful Texas Longhorn cattle, five healthy, well mannered quarter horses and two friendly yellow Labrador retrievers. Relax by the fire after a busy day of exploring nearby Amish country.

Come see the Rooms...

All of our rooms are large, spacious and overlook the surrounding woods.  The Red Room, the Dragonfly Room and the Hideaway room have private baths.  The Alcove has a shared bath with the Hideaway room and also has an separate bath that is available upon request.  For family reunions and large parties, you can rent all of the rooms as well and the Den.  Note: The den is included with any party that rents both the Hideaway Room and the Alcove.  The Den, the Hideaway Room and the Alcove make up about 2500 sq. feet, and has an outside entrance.  Please read the description of each room on the individual room page which can be accessed from the Rooms menu item above.

Come for the activities..

On the grounds we have a large built in swimming pool, horseback riding, and hiking.  We have volleyball and a fire ring waiting for you just outside the lodge.  Horse back riding must be arranged with our trail boss (Marcia) so make sure you give here a call if this is one of the activities you intend to do.  Swimming is seasonal, and there is no life guard on duty, so everyone needs to swim at their own risk, and care for their own children around the pool area.

Come see the Farm.

We live on a working farm.  If you want to see the animals, just let us know and we will arrange to take you out in the field, up close the the Texas longhorn cattle.  Being just a few feet away for a large horned cow or bull is an experience that you will not soon forget.
